Here are a few scenes on our way up.
Terence and Lydia look a bit more sleek in their outfits. You would think with all the extra layers John and I sport, we could just go without the excessive bundling. Not! It was cold!

Amazing how a scene with very little color, white and dark green, can still be beautiful. There is a frozen lake under this snow. We actually hiked around it, about 1 mile. Then back tracked because we weren't ready to go in yet.
John is standing on the dock going out into the lake.
Here's the end results. A headless snow angel. What did I get in return? A pant full of snow that I scooped up when I tried to return to my feet. Oh, well...another first.

Just a little funny thing in Salt Lake City. When you wish to cross the road in the downtown area you will find in many crossings a bucket containing flags. You are suppose to pick one up and hold it or wave it as you cross then leave it in the bucket on the other side. We had fun with them as you can see. John, of course, became the flag maintenance man and made sure at each crossing we made that the flags were equally distributed in the buckets.
Check back on this blog if you wish to see the videos I plan to add.
Love and hugs.....Cindy
