The above picture is a typical scene. Grandmother holding her grandchild on her back for her daughter. I couldn't do it. But the Chinese women are strong in many ways. They have to work hard to care for family, many work outside the home and often have a marriage that is stressful. Yet they carry on with their duties. Wait, that sounds like most of the woman in the world! But I do admire their devotion to their family.
This is a bedroom set, no mattress.

We have had almost 2 weeks of rain which leads to the opening of the umbrellas. When I look out our window at the little school with all the kids and parents walking with their colorful umbrellas, it appears to me as walking dots sometimes.
We love you guys and know that many are suffering due to the effects of the times we are living in. If we continue to focus on the big picture, the reason of our existence, the purpose of our lives, the promise is that we will all be able to endure. May we all work for that means and keep smiling.
