Next to the waterfall was a banyan tree. You can see in this picture how its' stringing roots will grow if not trimmed.
I eventually found the "place of interest" the signs were leading me to. It was another 10 minute walk from the waterfall. I arrived to see another theme park. Why don't they call it that here? My face was beet red, my clothes soaked, and my hair dripping but I did enjoy the walk. Now I have to find my way home. I have no idea where I am. A very nice lady sitting on the garden wall lead me to the closest subway entrance, thankfully not very far away. I must have looked pitiful. The A/C of the subway was a welcome delight. How come I am the only one who looks like this? I don't think Chinese people sweat. I take that back. The guy standing next to me on the subway holding onto the overhead bars with his arm pit in my face definitely sweats!
I hope you all understand why I don't always name the places I see. My trip to Taiwan will be different. Take care and keep the hope alive!!
Love and hugs... Cindy
